Student Advisory Committee

Purpose of the committee:

A group of Community School students who are motivated and dedicated to improving the student experience at Merlo. Students will meet with staff and administrators to share concerns and solutions, as well as bring information back to their Focus classes. This committee is new and this will be an opportunity to determine what this group can do.

Students should apply if they are interested in:

  • Collaborating with other students and staff to improve Community School

  • Applicants have ideas/plans to improve the school

  • Are able/willing to listen to others

  • Are able/willing to meet as a group regularly with administrators

Students must apply or be nominated via this form to be considered for the committee

The Student Advisory Committee will meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month (Feb 12, Feb 26, Mar 12, Apr 9, Apr 23, May 14 and May 28.)

If you are applying to nominate yourself, please fill out the form for yourself. If you are nominating someone else please put your name at the top and then fill out the student's information in the following questions.

ALL APPLICATIONS DUE FEBRUARY 7th! We will check in with nominees and create the committee by 2/12.
