Community School Bike Shop

High school students at Community School have the opportunity to take our Introduction to Bicycle Maintenance class in the Fall (Quarter 1) or Spring (Quarter 4). 

By the end of their nine-week course students will:

• Successfully replace or repair flat tires (the most common issue with bikes)
• Understand how to make adjustments to both the brakes and gear systems
• Successfully complete a Winter Overhaul on a bicycle (they will take the whole bike apart, clean it up, and put it back together)

As a program we are always looking for bikes to work on. Please fill out the form below if you would like to have your personal bicycle serviced. 

We ask that you pay for any replacement parts that will be needed for your bike, but do not charge for the time students will spend working on your bike. However, donations to our program are greatly appreciated.
