Merlo Station Campus Improvement Projects

We have a number of new ideas for our music program:

 

 

 

The first step of this project was cleaning out the room, repairing the walls, and finally painting. Next we will be working on infrastructure that allows for rotating exhibits. 

 

 

We have been working towards having the carpet removed from the culinary classroom for obvious reasons; food and carpet don't mix! The carpet is finally scheduled to be removed this summer!

Update: District staff visited the Culinary Kitchen on 5/30 to assess the venting situation. 

 

 

We have been working towards installing a shower in the North Wing restroom. This will be a resource for students on a requested and as need basis. 

 

We are working on cleaning up our garden space and turning into an outdoor hang out area, a place for lunch, a place for classes, and ideally some native plants that attract bees, birds, and bugs. 

 

 

 

 

We have requested to have a storage loft installed to help with storage and supplies.
